I have been using flac frontend for over a year now with no problems. Now everytime I try to decode flac to wave , I get the Error message flac-stream-decoder-read-frame. I am using windows XP....Does anyone have any Ideas??

not sure of the problem. i'd suggest using in the time being the dBpoweramp music converter. it's free

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

get the flac / shn and ogg codex as well.

Thanks, Tyler,

I googled "flac-stream-decoder-read-frame" and got your link. So far dbpoweramp is working great.

I use a shareware Audio Editing program called GoldWave that allows batch processesing/converting to & from flac to wav/mp3, whatever...

FLAC Frontend should work perfectly with 24 bit files. I use it to encode/decode 24 bit files all the time. whatever the problem is, it's not because of 24 bit files.
